Two men have been arrested over the bizarre daylight abduction of a woman at Bondi Junction yesterday afternoon.
Witnesses telling police of seeing a woman being assaulted by a man before being bundled into a van outside shops on Spring Street at about 3pm.
Nine hours later, a patrol car spotted the Toyota Hiace in Camperdown and following a short chase, stopped the van in Glebe.
Two men, aged 42 and 28 were arrested with a 35 year old woman also found inside the vehicle.
The trio then taken back to Newtown Police station to 'assist' police with inquiries.
There are now reports one of the men has been released from custody while the other continues to be questioned.
